Gabriella A. Fernandez Perez is an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office, working with the firm's Local Government Law practice.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Fernandez served as a Legislative Aide and legal advisor to the City of Miami's District 4 Commissioner, where she prepared legal analyses and comprehensive summaries for City Commission meetings and agenda briefings. She drafted ordinances, resolutions, and provided counsel on statutory compliance and public meeting procedures.
Ms. Fernandez concentrates her practice in the areas of local government, land use, and real estate law. She acts as general counsel to multiple community development districts across Florida, advising on legal matters related to the operations of these special-purpose governmental entities.
Ms. Fernandez was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She earned her bachelor's degree from Florida International University and her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. She also holds an LL.M. in Real Property Development from the University of Miami's Greenberg Traurig LL.M. program. Ms. Fernandez has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2024.
